Thank you for your confidence in CareFirst, we appreciate the referral and will strive to concurrently treat your patient when requested. A patient who is currently receiving opioid therapy from a physician or a patient being referred for an opioid consultation requires a review of medical records before a new patient appointment can be scheduled.
